Terms & Conditions
General
- Link Chauffeurs requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all online bookings.
- For bookings within 24 hours, please call us directly at +44 7465 430000.
- Our chauffeurs will drive safely and responsibly, adhering to legal speed limits and traffic conditions.
- Clients are liable for any damage they cause to the vehicle (interior or exterior) and will be charged for any necessary repairs.
- A cleaning charge will apply for any mess resulting from sickness.
- On occasion, subcontracted vehicles may be used.
- By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to communication from Link Chauffeurs or our subcontractors. Your information will never be shared with third parties.
- Any changes to the agreed journey, including additional mileage or stops, may result in additional charges.
- We reserve the right to change the assigned vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
- While we aim to be punctual, delays can occasionally occur due to traffic or unforeseen events.
- Routes are chosen based on efficiency and traffic conditions unless otherwise specified by the client at the time of booking.
- All vehicles (Link Chauffeurs and subcontractors) are fully licensed, insured, and DBS-checked.
- Child or baby seats are not provided. If you supply your own, it is your responsibility to ensure it is fitted correctly.
- We do not transport unaccompanied minors under 18 unless pre-arranged with written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Lost property will be recorded and kept at our office; we will make every effort to return it to the rightful owner.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior may pose a risk.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
- Online quotes exclude bank holidays and special dates such as Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, which may incur a surcharge.
- These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Events Beyond Our Control
Link Chauffeurs is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Strikes or industrial actions
- Civil unrest, war, terrorism or threats
- Natural disasters (floods, storms, earthquakes, etc.)
- Epidemics or pandemics
- Road closures, accidents, or traffic disruptions
- Failures in telecommunications or utility services
In such events:
- We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
- Our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the disruption.
- We may send an alternative vehicle (different model/spec/colour) if necessary.
Waiting Time
- Non-airport pickups: 15-minute grace period, then waiting time may be charged.
- Airport pickups: 60-minute grace period from flight landing. After that, waiting time will be charged at £10 per 15 minutes.
Cancellations
- Cancelled 48+ hours before pickup: Full refund
- Cancelled 24–48 hours before pickup: 50% charge
- Cancelled within 24 hours of pickup: 100% charge
- No-show at agreed time/location: 100% charge
Weddings & Proms
- Prom cancellations made within 10 days: deposit is non-refundable; additional charges may apply.
- Wedding cancellations made within 14 days: deposit is non-refundable; additional charges may apply.
Refunds
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g., PayPal or card).
Payments
- Bookings £200 or more require a 50% deposit.
- Bookings under £200 require a £50 deposit per vehicle.
- Wedding & prom bookings: Remaining balance must be paid one month prior to the event.
- Additional charges (e.g. waiting time, car parks, tolls) may apply but will only be added with your approval.
- Card payments will show as Link Chauffeurs on your statement.
Luggage & Claims
- Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and belongings.
- We accept no liability for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.
- Please ensure you book a suitable vehicle with adequate luggage space.
- We may refuse to carry luggage if it is deemed excessive.
Animals in Vehicles
- Guide dogs are welcome when accompanied by registered disabled passengers (please notify us at time of booking).
- Other animals may be accepted at our discretion — please notify us in advance.
Acceptance of Terms
- By making a booking and paying a deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
